My passion for long-distance and marathon riding took on a whole new dimension after experiencing the Stoneman Miriquidi. That’s where I discovered the adrenaline rush of flow trails and technical descents. I wanted to experience that unique blend of adventure, trail fun, and challenge more frequently—and closer to home. Let me introduce myself
Hey, I’m Geert — recreational mountain biker, nature lover and adventure enthusiast. For years I rode Ardennes marathons and ultras, until I honestly became a bit too obsessed. Numbers, segments, faster, further… at some point the fun just faded away.
Until the German Stoneman Miriquidi. There, somewhere between the bike parks and endless singletracks, something clicked. Mindshift. Back to why I got on that bike in the first place.
Now I’m mostly chasing the mix: bike park trails, tough climbs, stunning views and that one singletrack where you say afterwards “that was sick”.
Here you’ll find routes I create and fine-tune until they’re spot on. Reviews of gear I actually use. And stories about adventures on and off the trails.
